Fone Art Figures
by Ernst Benkert and Alexandra Walcott
These delightfully disturbing figures began as drawings that Ernst Benkert made while he was talking on the phone; hence the name “Fone Art.” As the conversations grew longer and more distressing, the images became darker and more elaborated. Alexandra Walcott has reproduced and enlarged many of the Fone Art drawings and has turned them into standing figures by attaching them to wood and cutting them out with a jigsaw. These pieces are handmade. Only one of each figure is currently in stock. Others may be ordered, but we cannot fill those orders before January 20th, 2010.
Prices as marked.
